PATRICIA CLARKSON AS LILLY LEDBETTER

Patricia Clarkson is a Golden Globe and double Emmy, double National Society of Film Critics Awards winner. She has won a British Independent Film Award, as well as Oscar, Tony, and four Screen Actors Guild award nominations. Her accolades include an Academy Award nomination, multiple Screen Actors Guild and Tony Award nominations, and numerous Golden Globe, Emmy, National Society of Film Critics, and British Independent Film Awards. 

She is known for films such as Martin Scorsese’s SHUTTER ISLAND with Leonardo DiCaprio, George Clooney’s GOOD NIGHT, GOOD LUCK with Robert Downey Jr., and THE GREEN MILE with Tom Hanks, as well as iconic series such as SIX FEET UNDER, HOUSE OF CARDS, and SHARP OBJECTS and more recently GRAY and STATE OF THE UNION for which she won her third Emmy. Theater lovers will know Clarkson for her acclaimed performance opposite Bradley Cooper in Broadway’s 2014 production of ELEPHANT MAN. She recently received rave reviews for the London revival of Eugene O'Neill's LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT opposite Brian Cox.

Born and raised in New Orleans, the youngest of five sisters, Clarkson is also the daughter of New Orleans City Councilwoman, Jackie Clarkson, who devoted her career to women and families and brings a long-held ethos of justice to this film.

john benjamin hickey AS CHARLES LEDBETTER

John Benjamin Hickey (Charles Ledbetter) stars in the independent feature Lilly, alongside Patricia Clarkson, and can be seen in Salem's Lot, based on the novel of the same name by Stephen King. His other films include Sublet, Pitch Perfect, Flags of Our Fathers, The Anniversary Party, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, The Taking of Pelham 123, and Mapplethorpe.

On television, Hickey will next be seen in Marvel's Daredevil: Born Again. He starred opposite Uzo Aduba in the fourth season of the critically acclaimed HBO series In Treatment. He has additionally received an Emmy Award nomination for his work on the Showtime series The Big C. Hickey later went on to star in the critically acclaimed WGN America series Manhattan. Other television credits include Gossip Girl, Jessica Jones, Modern Family, Hannibal, Sex and the City, and several appearances on Law & Order. He also had a recurring role as Neil Gross on The Good Wife and its spin-off, The Good Fight.

Hickey made his Broadway directorial debut at the Hudson Theatre with the record-breaking revival of Neil Simon's Plaza Suite, starring Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, which also had a successful run in London’s West End at The Savoy Theatre. As an actor, Hickey has appeared on Broadway in Love! Valour! Compassion!, Cabaret, The Crucible, Mary Stuart, The Inheritance, and The Normal Heart, for which he received the 2011 Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Play.

THOMAS SADOSKI AS JOHN GOLDFARB

Thomas Sadoski most recently starred in Alice Childress’ WEDDING BAND at TFANA and Suzan Lori-Parks’ WHITE NOISE at The Public. Broadway credits include OTHER DESERT CITIES, REASONS TO BE PRETTY, THE HOUSE OF BLUE LEAVES, and RECKLESS. Off-Broadway: THIS IS OUR YOUTH, BECKY SHAW, WHERE WE’RE BORN, and many more.

On the big screen, he starred alongside Glen Powell in DEVOTION and Reese Witherspoon in the Oscar-nominated Jean Marc Valle film WILD. Television work includes Apple series THE CROWDED ROOM, Aaron Sorkin’s HBO series THE NEWSROOM, and CBS comedy LIFE IN PIECES.

He is the founding ambassador of the War Child USA, international advisor for Fortify Rights, emeritus board member of Refugees International, and on the board of INARA which provides life-saving medical treatment to children wounded in war. For his humanitarian work Sadoski holds an honorary doctorate from Niagara University.

Rachel FeldmaN , Director, Co-Writer, Producer

Rachel Feldman is a seasoned director of dramatic television. LILLY is her first feature film. A director whose professional career began at a time when only 1% of film and television production was directed by women, it’s evident what drew this filmmaker to Lilly Ledbetter’s story of perseverance and tenacity.

Feldman’s recent credits include the pilot and first season of the award-winning Netflix series, The Baxters, as well as multiple episodes of Blue Bloods, The Rookie, and Criminal Minds. She credits Steven Bochco and David E. Kelley for launching her career as a television director with episodes of Doogie Howser and Picket Fences.

Feldman’s award-winning short films have been broadcast on HBO, PBS, and Showtime, produced on grants from The Jerome Foundation, NYSCA, AFI, Kodak, and Panavision.

The screenplay for LILLY was selected for the Athena List and Breaking Through the Lens and was awarded a NYWIFT Ravenal Foundation Grant. Feldman’s pilot Kinks won the ScreenCraft Best Pilot Award, WGA Best Spec Pilot, WGA Drama Queens, and was the U.S. selection for Cannes Series MIPTV. Other screenplays have been produced by Lifetime Television and optioned by Double Nickel Entertainment, Marc Platt Productions, Mark Canton, Lakeshore Entertainment, eOne, and ABC Family.

Adam Prince, co-writer

Adam Prince is a multifaceted writer, producer, and director in the film and podcast industry, with a background in International Relations from Harvard and an MFA from USC's School of Cinematic Arts. His career in Hollywood began at Robert Duvall's production company where he served a Director of Development, developing several notable projects including the 2007 Emmy Award-winning limited series, Broken Trail.  Prince’s career as a screenwriter began when he wrote Red Sky (directed by Mario Van Peebles), followed by Final Girl (starring Abigail Breslin), Junglee (directed by Chuck Russell), and Lilly (which he cowrote with director Rachel Feldman).  He has also developed TV shows for major studios and made significant contributions to the podcast industry, writing for the Ambie Award-winning Even the Rich and lending his talents as a writer/director/producer on anthology series such as Fever Dreams: A Pulp Collection, Allegedly, as well as several stand-alone miniseries. Married to actress Laura Jane Salvato since 2002, Prince continues to be a prolific creator in both traditional and emerging media formats.
